Experimental approach to the length of the threshold-controlled hydraulic flow in a rectangular channel with a rough bottom

The study proposes to examine, by the experimental route, effect of roughness on hydraulic jump length in rectangular channel. A comparative between characteristics controlled a threshold with smooth and rough bottom is proposed. results this research can be applied load dissipation basins dams also irrigation lines, using ability projection raise water level downstream flow.
